Our
glulam beams come in two different appearance grades
architectural which can be used as a finish
application and industrial which can be used for
concealed applications. There are not any structural
differences between architectural and industrial
beams. These qualifications only refer to the
appearance of the glulam beam.
Glulam
beams are manufactured to AITC standards. AITC is the
governing body for standards of engineered wood. LRC
Products offers AITC rated glulam beams in varying
dimensions.

Lengths
Pre-cut garage door headers, and lengths up
to 50.
51 to 66 are special order. |

Widths
Glulam widths are 3-1/8 , 5-1/8, & 6-3/4
8-3/4 are available by special order. |

Depths
Glulam depths range from 6 thru 24 at
1-1/2 increments. Any depth larger than 24
are available by special order. |
Engineered
glulam beams provide greater strength and stiffness
than dimensional lumber. When compared to steel
beams glulam is stronger pound for pound and offers
greater flexibility when designing and building your
home.
Overall the glulam beam is very versatile and can be
used in many different applications. |
