Products has developed a relationship that allows us
to provide our customers with our private label LRC
Brand I-Joist. Our APA Performance Rated
I-Joists (PRI) are manufactured to specific
dimensions commonly used in residential
construction.
We
offer a PRI 40, 60, and 80 series I-Joist in 9-1/2”,
11-7/8”, 14”, and 16” depths. Also available
is an 18" I-Joist that is a custom order but can be
easily filled. Newly added to
our I-Joist family is the APA PRI 20 Series I-Joist,
available in 9-1/2", & 11-7/8" with a
1-5/8" flange width.
Why
use I-joist over solid sawn timbers?
I
joist are more economical for the environment.
I-Joist uses 50 percent less wood fiber than typical
solid sawn 2x10’s or 2x12’s.
I-Joist
also provides a stronger and quieter floor. This can
be accomplished because each joist is made the same
every time. Using solid sawn 2x10’s or 2x12’s every
piece is not made the same which can be cupped, warped,
and twisted. This makes for squeaky and
un-even floors.
The APA Mark of
Quality
APA
trademarks appear only on products manufactured by
APA member mills. The mark signifies that panel
quality is subject to verification through APA
audit– a procedure designed to assure manufacture in
conformance with APA performance standards or the
standard shown in the mark.
