Are you tired of your contractors cutting holes in I-Joist where they do not belong? Cutting a hole to close to bearing or into a flange is a costly mistake and requires a fix designed by an engineer.

We have developed the perfect solution to all of those problems.  The LRC T.E.C.H-Joist, which stands for Trimable End Circular Hole Joist allows the builder to field trim these joist up to a certain point in able for the joist to fit the foundation.  Once the joists are in place the 8" hole in the 11-7/8"     I-Joist allows for mechanical contractors to run duct work, wires, and plumbing lines with out cutting a joist, saving time and money.

Cutting holes in solid sawn lumber limits your hole placement and size of the hole.  Do you know that a hole cut in a 2x12 has to be less than 4" and cannot be within 2 inches of the top and bottom of the member?  This is not a very big hole!  With the LRC TECH-Joist we can cut twice as big a hole without cutting into the flange.
